Josh Behnke is a San Antonio based Attorney who focuses his practice in Business and Real Estate Transactions.

Josh was born and raised in San Antonio. He attended TCU in Fort Worth for his undergraduate studies where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and graduated as an Honors Laureate from the John V. Roach Honors College. He then earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Houston Law Center.

Prior to forming Behnke Legal Consulting, PLLC, Josh gained experience with two San Antonio law firms providing real estate and general counsel services and representing small and medium-sized businesses on contractual and other related civil matters. Additionally, he has substantial experience with real estate title and Texas mineral rights with previous experience as a Texas Department of Insurance licensed Escrow Officer and "Fee Attorney" Office Closer.

Josh's practice covers a broad range of subject matters including: general corporate representation, commercial and residential real estate, commercial and residential real estate development, commercial leasing and purchase and sale transactions, farm and ranch, lending and secured transactions, master service agreements, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), employment agreements, title examination, energy law and other contractual and civil matters.

In 2021, Josh became Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization - a distinction shared by less than 1% of all licensed attorneys in the State of Texas.  This certification is only granted after completion of a rigorous application and examination of an attorney's competency in a given practice area.
